Just got back from Iceland. Words can’t express how beautiful this place is. This is just a small sample of the photos I will be sharing later.

I’ve been riding on two wheels for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I lived by 2 wheels, motorized or not. I was tossed onto Yamaha dirt bikes and Honda street bikes, thanks to my motorhead father. I’m glad it carried over into adulthood.

My brother and I swear by BMW’s, airhead and oilheads. Blaine rides a BMW r90/6 and I ride a BMW r1200GS. I’m in the process of rebuilding a classic 1970 BMW r75/5. Once I get that bike in tip top shape, I hope to have a good balance of riding a new and old beemer.

My brother, father and I will be taking a cross country trip this fall from Atlanta to the Grand Canyon and back. It’s going to be a killer adventure and I can’t wait to document it along the way. This journey will be one of the many extended motorcycle trips I plan on doing in my life.

I really don’t think there are much better things in life than riding motorcycles with your best friends and family. It’s always a nice reminder that this life and the world we live in is beautiful, especially when riding through North Georgia on a fall day, looking over the sea of colored leaves smelling the burning wood through the crisp air.

If you don’t ride motorcycles, you should try it sometime. I highly recommend it.

My church, Trinity, helps the homeless of Atlanta with its ministry, Lazarus. One of the big events we have is our annual Superbowl chilly cook-off, where we provide food and clothing to the homeless and anyone can make their own secret chilly recipe and bring it to be eaten and judged. I had several batches, and there’s nothing better on a cold February night!

Allison is the incredible person that started Lazarus 10 years ago. She’s come a long way with Lazarus Ministries and now oversees the mission’s day-to-day operation!

Local musicians also contribute to Lazarus and CD’s are released to benefit to mission. Check it out here.

The Prints for Haiti run was a success! Many friends chipped in and bought prints and we raised over $150! Thank you to everyone who donated and those who spread the message.

Knowing that I (and most of us for that matter) can’t fly to Haiti and physically help our brothers and sisters, I feel one of the best things I can do right now is to offer my photography to help raise money to give to the right charity.

I am offering a limited edition print run of 20 copies of this image. Each print will be signed by me. I am asking for a $30 donation, all of which will go to a determined charity. You will receive a 11×16 inch flat lustre print that you can choose to mount however you would like. Note that I do not provide mounting or framing, only the print. If you live in downtown Atlanta (and surrounding neighborhoods), I will try to personally deliver the image to avoid the hassle of it getting damaged in the mail (note: this offer maybe subject to change, and this will be determined closer to shipping date of prints). If demand exceeds 20 images, I will consider doing a second run of prints, as this will only benefit the determined charity helping Haiti more.

Went to the Blue Ridge Mountains with my Mom, Dad, and Kelly back in December.

It was my first weekend owning the tilt shift and I didn’t know how it really worked. Let’s just say I was a little excited about using it.
